Dr. Marc S. Berger, MD, is a Board Certified Family Physician who performs old-fashioned Medical Physician doctoring.

With the closure of his small office, previously at 802B 2n Street North, Safety Harbor, Florida, Dr. Berger is no doing medical care by in person HOUSE CALLS, or by TeleMedicine (Telehealth). He no longer has a physical “Brick and Mortar” building where he can see patients.

However, he is more available than ever during non-business hours. For example, he can schedule and perform a TeleMedicine visit via telephone, Zoom, text Message, or iPhone. No Artificial Intelligence (AI) here; this is the human Marc S. Berger talking with you in person in real time. Anything that can be done electronically (asking and answering questions, writing out instruction, email, text, FAQ, electronic prescribing, transmitting document images over the internet) can be done by remote communication.

If there is an important reason why a physical examination is important ( such as a new problem, and assessment by clinical examination, physical medication treatment, etc.) Dr. Berger can often set up a timely house call, usually in the evening or weekend. He cannot take “911” emergencies, but can often take care of urgent problems that don’t need immediate advanced medical care (x rays, in person laboratory testing, wound care/suturing/casting). For those people who would like evaluation and recommendation to use Florida Medical Marijuana, initial visits MUST be done in person; Dr. Berger can set up a house call for this. For Medical Marijuana patients who HAVE been physically seen by Dr. Berger, a Telephone Recertification is possible.

Since you are requesting TIME from the physician, a deposit system has been set up to guarantee that both parties will BE PROPERLY SERVICE. Cancelling a scheduled telemedicine or house call within 24 hours wastes the physician’s Time and resources. We charge $50 deposit by credit card or VENMO to schedule the appointment up to 1 hour, with the depositing being credited to hourly fees. If we cant perform the service, or you cancel over 24 hours before the scheduled time, your deposit is refunded to you.
